WE TAKE PRIDE IN OUR COMMUNITY

Working toward a brighter future, together.

"Dwayne and I have been treated very well by our community and that makes giving back very important to us.  We know that a strong healthy community tomorrow isn't possible without giving back, and we are always working toward a brighter future.  We believe in quality, not the quick fix.  Our employees share in that belief and work very hard to have a positive impact.  Many of them have happily represented Diamond Electrical Contractors in community improvement projects like the building of the Trenton Rowing and Paddling Club, and more recently, in Belleville's new Field of Ability.  DEC is happy to support our Trenton Memorial Hospital Foundation, numerous youth sports teams each year, and the Quinte West Youth Centre.

We take pride in our community work and in our employees who help to make that positive impact.  If you know of a project that needs a helping hand to make a big difference in our community, maybe we can help.  Drop us a line with the details and what kind of support you're hoping for, and you just never know...maybe we can work together to bring good things to life!"

Some exciting things are going to be happening on the Trent this summer!

The TRPC is getting a new Dragon Boat thanks to DEC!

The TRPC is a non-profit, membership driven club providing recreation, fitness, and training in rowing, paddling and dragon boating.  TRPC aims to raise the profile of sports in our region by having qualified coaches and the right equipment to offer a variety of programming to youth over 14 and adults.  TRPC was established in the spring of 2012 and has been an active club ever since!

Dragon Boating has been a major part of the club for many years.  During COVID’s social distancing requirements, the dragon boat sat in outdoor storage at Bay Marine, which contributed to its already less-than-great condition.  The Boat, formerly named “Flora”, needed to be retired which ultimately meant the end of the dragon boat team for the TRPC; without some major help.

Dwayne and Jannine have made it possible for the Dragon Boat team at the TRPC to continue for the 2023 season, by purchasing a new 20 person Champion Dragon Boat, that will be delivered late May!

Keep your eye out for launch dates, and be sure to come down and check it out!!   It’s going to be BIG!  If you would like more information on the TRPC, or becoming a member of the club, visit the TRPC website!

Diamond Electrical Contractors proudly supports the Quinte West Youth Centre, as not only a corporate sponsor, but through hands-on volunteer work and fundraising as well.  The Centre has been a part of our community for 11 years, working hard to support youth aged 10-18 by providing meals, and a safe and inclusive space for youth in our area.  Visit our Facebook and LinkedIn pages to see upcoming events to get involved with!
